We’re excited to announce that our volunteer recruitment grant and growth (for the Kenai Peninsula and Ketchikan) grants that were terminated this spring have been successfully appealed and reinstated. This is a big win for Alaska’s communities.

With this important funding restored, we can continue to find, train, and support the dedicated Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who make a difference in the lives of foster youth here in Alaska. The grants empower us to expand our reach and provide high-quality training to more volunteers.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support the Alaska CASA mission. We invite you to learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer. We will be holding new volunteer trainings in all of our service areas this fall - Anchorage, Valley, Fairbanks, Kenai Peninsula, Juneau and Ketchikan. Together, we can help change a child’s story.
