Fairbanks Training and Events

Continuing Education Opportunities
Whenever possible, Fairbanks CASA continuing education meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month, alternating topical presentations  with CASAs in Cahoots meetings: brown bag lunches that provide an opportunity to sit down with GALs and your fellow CASA volunteers to talk about cases, problem solve, address questions, and offer ideas and support. Meetings are held in the OPA second floor conference room, unless otherwise noted.
Fairbanks CASA Pre-Service Training
will begin in October 2017!

If you are interested in becoming a Fairbanks CASA volunteer, please contact Anne soon for more details.

Once we know who will be participating in the training class, we will firm up the training dates, but generally:
- there are 6 training sessions
- we meet one evening/week, for 3 hrs each session
- training will begin in early October and finish the first week of November

Please help us spread the word! If you know someone you think would make an excellent CASA volunteer, please encourage them to get in touch with our office. If you would like to host an information meeting or belong to a group that would like to host a meeting, please let me know!
